My experience buying from Alibaba and what I learned

I just spent over $1,000.00 dollars US to order some laptops from someone on Alibaba. I received 1 broken no-name cell phone.

This is a warning do not buy from Alibaba from Canada. Only deal with a know seller that really ships products.

After I lost my money I did more research and found that if its to good to be true don't buy it, but how can we tell as it is as far as I can tell all to good to be true.

Also only buy from company's that use PayPal, I found many advertise they use paypal but when you order there will not take an order by PayPal.

Use only some legitimate form of escrow.... So I found when I do a search for company's that will ship using escrow (Bank letters are risky as well) there are very few products available.

Alibaba may be a good company but its like a market with some legitimate sellers but mostly a den of thieves. Check there own blogs on safe buying and other users comments.
